All the while Vietnam cuisine is not my favorite cause their dishes serve a lot of beef and I don’t take beef. But since my friend never try out the Vietnam foods before, so we decided to go to Vietnam Kitchen which is located at Leisure Mall for our dinner yesterday night. It’s our 1st time there. We ordered 4 dishes plus drinks. The foods were just average only and not so impressive. But anyway, the price is considered quite reasonable with this kind of dining environment. Staffs are friendly as well. Anyhow, I think I hardly come back here to dine for the second time. Vietnam Kitchen Vietnamese seafood salad. RM12.90 Sliced chicken & spring roll vermicelli. RM10.90 Saigon seafood fried noodles. RM12.90 Curry chicken rice. RM9.90 Mung & red bean with coconut milk. RM5.90
I went for a movie on Saturday afternoon with my friend at Pavilion. Movie title is called Babylon A.D. The plot is about the actor takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to America. Heard some bad comments from my friends about this movie before I watch. But anyway, yes, this movie is bad, and what's worse, I went in with low expectations. I wanted to like this movie, really I did. Sadly, it went the other way.
The whole movie is like a mess. There are scenes in which you can tell the direction has no heart and the characters are just boring and flat. The acting is mostly weak. Vin Diesel still tries his best to act, but to no avail as the film keeps sinking to new depths. Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh seem to lost in this cinematic wreck. If you go in expecting the next academy award winner, you will completely despise it. I don't know whether they are setting up for a sequel or what but the ending was laughable or the best to describe is “No proper ending”, the ending is just like chopped off suddenly and I really don’t understand what’s the message the movie try to deliver.
The movie is about an hour and a half and I felt like two hours show. That, ladies and gentlemen, is reason enough to evade this movie unless you are excessively bored and have no entertainment alternatives.
Everytime go to Amsterdam, one of the attractions for me is the hotel that we stayed. The hotel is very nice yet the room is very comfortable, the bed is super soft and make me always want to lie on it. Hehe... The bar is dazzling and decorated in a riotous collection of styles. This is the room i stayed. Europe hotel is very expensive, this standard deluxe room for us which they charged to company 395Euro per night!! Oh my god! So expensive! Welcome to Amsterdam! How come i didn't see any Dutch lady geh?? This is the national flower of Netherlands aka Holland -- Tulip, one of the most accurate and beautiful signs of the arrival of Spring. I will come here to buy chocolates everytime i come to AMS. Leonidas - a famous Belgium chocolate. If i am not mistaken, they have 1 branch at Mid Valley. But the price here is cheaper compare with Mid Valley. All the yummy yummy chocolates--my favourite. Keke...
Although a town of considerable historic interest, Perth, because of its location on the plains and because of the rather simplistic nature of some of its buildings, is not as interesting as other cities in Australia. I gotta say it's nice and peaceful in a way. But anyway, it still attracts a lot of migrants to move there, especially Asians. There are heaps of peoples from Malaysia and Singapore. Plus tonnes of students from Japan,Korea and Mainland China. I think Asian migrants are very common in Aussie's cities. I can see them everywhere in Australia.
My hotel is just a block away from Perth CBD. So it is super convenient for me. Right after reached hotel, immediate changed clothes and went to "makan" before the shops were closed. The shops close very early here, after 6pm, the street is considered dead already. Except those shops and restaurants still open in China Town. My crew members knew 30th August is my birthday, so they celebrated with me in the Japanese restaurant which is very famous and nice in Perth. We enjoyed our time there with all the gossips. Hehe... As usual lor, if not, what else to talk about. :p
