After Cape Town, i continued my journey to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Be there for 5 days. It is my 2nd time to Buenos Aires. Argentina is located at South American Continent and it’s the world's eighth largest country with a population of about 40millions. Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina(ninth largest city in the world). Its populations are about 3 millions within the city and 12 millions in the larger metropolitan area. Its a home to one-third of Argentina's population, making it a hub of public debate, political action and reform movements. Spanish is the official language of Argentina. But many of Argentinians cannot speak English, so make it a bit difficult for me to communicate with them. Almost 90% of Argentina’s population is Roman Catholic.

The Obelisk of Buenos Aires is a modern monument placed at the heart of Buenos Aires. In fact, it’s just situated in front of the hotel which I stayed, same as the Avenue 9 de Julio. It is one of the main icons of the city, and a venue for various cultural activities and other events. The obelisk was built in May 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the first founding of the city. Its total height is 67 meters (220 feet) and its base area is 49 square meters (530 square feet). Its construction took barely four weeks!! So fast!!
This pic also took from the top of the hotel which i stayed
Avenue 9 de Julio, wandering through the center of the Microcentre(downtown), is the widest street in the world with an imposing sixteen lanes!!! Its took me about 1 minute to cross the road!!!!
